WHAT WE LOVE...

Housed in an historic, Grade-I listed 18th-century building in the heart of Norfolk's lively and historic capital, eleven individually designed bedrooms combine original Georgian interiors - think grand fireplaces - with contemporary furnishings. Bedrooms are in a separate wing away from the elegant public areas including the Grand Hall, which are regularly used for city weddings, concerts and private parties, creating a real buzz about the place. The Assembly House's main restaurant, which is open all day, is a top pick for a blow-out afternoon tea in opulent surroundings. In a city which is short of luxury hotels, The Assembly House is the best choice in town.
