Delia has been teaching the country to cook for over 50 years and has sold more than 21 million books. She was awarded the prestigious Order of the Companions of Honour in 2017, receiving the award from HM The Queen for her contribution to cooking and cookery education. Rail and Sail experiences
You'll ride the Bure Valley Railway through the countryside and cruise on the Broads aboard the Southern Comfort Mississippi Paddle Boat, taking in the views as you pass cottages and windmills.
Highlights include Burnham Market, with its arts and crafts shops; and historic Walsingham. You'll also enjoy lunch in a traditional Norfolk tavern by the sea. This majestic Jacobean Blickling Hall contains some of the most historically significant manuscripts and books in England.

Day2Delia’s Food and Wine WorkshopNorwich, United Kingdom
Your special day of cookery with Delia Smith and chef Alex Mackay includes coffee and cake on arrival, followed by a live cookery demonstration from Alex and a masterclass from cocktail expert Simon 'Ice' Atkinson. This is followed by a three-course lunch and a tutored wine tasting with wine expert Jason Banner from Peter Graham Wines. Delia and Alex will be happy to sign books, both old and new. Delia, Alex and other specialists will also take part in a Q&A session, after which tea is served.
Day3Bure Valley Railway, afternoon tea, Blickling Hall and dinner at Delia’sBlickling,
This morning, you will travel to the market town of Aylsham to join the Bure Valley Railway. This delightful route takes in some of the most unspoilt countryside as it crosses 17 bridges and passes through idyllic villages to reach Wroxham, known as the 'capital of the Norfolk Broads'.
Afterwards, enjoy an afternoon tea and a visit to Blickling Hall. The library at Blickling Estate contains one of the most historically significant collections of manuscripts and books in England. You'll get to have a look around the principal rooms, including the long gallery, often described at the grandest of its period in England.
This evening, one of the highlghts of the tour is a special dining experience at Delia's restaurant. Delia's Restaurant and Bar is a beautiful restaurant where you are guaranteed the combination of friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Delia's recipes are all cooked to her exacting standards. You can enjoy canapes on arrival, a three-course dinner followed by coffee and something sweet. Tour gems of the North Norfolk Coast today, including the religious village of Walsingham, Burnham Market with its lovely arty shops and a few more seaside villages along the coast. The tour will also include a pub lunch in a traditional Norfolk tavern.
Day5Norwich tour and Norfolk Broads cruiseNorwich, United Kingdom
Enjoy a tour of Norwich this morning. This afternoon you will board the Southern Comfort Mississippi Paddle Boat for a scenic cruise on the Broads. The route will take you along the Bure river, passing thatched cottages, windmills and Norfolk reed beds, with a commentary pointing out the water birds along the way.
Return home after your cruise.
