We know how much you, our readers, love to knit, so we're introducing our first short break where you can improve your techniques in the company of other Prima crafters.
You'll stay in the relaxing four-star Sedgebrook Hall, near the village of Chapel Brampton in Northamptonshire, for three days and enjoy expert workshops from two of the UK's best knitting tutors.
Frederica Patmore, who designed the pattern for Prima's Help Our Hedgehogs campaign, and knit and crochet expert Sarah Hazell will both join you for the duration and host two days of workshops, during which you'll work on your skills and have time to ask them any of your niggling knitting questions.
"I love colour, so I'll talk about how to choose your colour palette for each new project as well as advise you on different yarns. I'm also fascinated by textures and love to explore how various stitches can influence a piece. I can't wait to join Prima readers on this new short break."
- Sarah Hazell
There are four dates to choose from, in November 2020 and August 2021, and you'll cover knitting skills, including short-row shaping, knitting in reverse, sequence knitting and fair isle, plus much more. You'll also get a free knitting kit containing patterns and yarns.
Come alone or bring a friend or partner (there's even a reduction for non-crafters), and enjoy a holiday indulging your passion for knitting. We promise you'll be inspired, improve your skills and make new friends, as well as take home something you made.
