Hotel Review
The Guinness Arms, Icklingham, Suffolk
This updated pub is situated in a pleasant village in a peaceful, rural part of Suffolk. One of two pubs on the sprawling Elveden estate owned by the Guinness dynasty, The Guinness Arms features a big open dining space, a large garden and a set of contemporary barn conversion rooms - each of which is dedicated to a member of the Guinness family. The food is simple yet high-quality pub grub, rooms are comfortable and stylish, and the location is terrific - around 90 minutes from London and within easy reach of multiple country walks and activities, both across the estate and in nearby Thetford Forest.

Style & Character
The Guinness Arms is perfect for couples or families looking for a weekend stay close to Thetford Forest. We love the bold prints and bespoke metal chandeliers in the dining room, with large doors opening onto the patio in summer.

You can stroll from the garden all the way down to the gentle river Lark. The pub has a kids menu and the two largest rooms, Lulu and Bunny, have a fold-out bed if you are travelling with young ones.
